The Water Squad were fantastic in the Scariff Bay Radio studio yesterday. They delivered their Presentation Pitch and performed their Water Saving rap for a captivated audience, presenters Jim Collins and Ursula Hogan. They spoke about their awareness campaign and all the wonderful work they have done since they first entered the One Good Idea competition. Jim and Ursula asked them questions and I was struck by their confidence and ability to answer these questions on the spot. The vocabulary they used was excellent and I was incredibly proud of them all. This will be aired on tomorrow morning's show Saturday Chronicle at 10 am. The frequency is 88.3 FM but unfortunately it does not reach Kilkishen parish. However there is a download called TuneIn which allows you to listen to live radio stations online so please tune in, using this app. We would like to say a big thank you to Jim and Ursula for having us and to Mike Hogan for organizing it and for always being in our corner, helping us wherever he can. Thank you to Mary Jane Murphy also for providing lifts and for taking beautiful photographs. We have been invited back onto the show after the National Final and we are already looking forward to it.
Don't forget to tune in!!!!!
We would also love if anybody on Twitter could support the Water Squad by wishing them luck and using the hashtag #onegoodidea
