Pupils from 3rd-6th class traveled to Tralee Co. Kerry on Friday last for their annual school tour. On arrival in Tralee pupils visited the Kerry County Museum and were given guided tours of two exhibitions running in the museum. The first exhibition involved pupils learning about medieval times in Tralee. Pupils explored what life was like during the 1400's and were introduced to what living in Tralee was like during this time. In the next exhibition pupils were working as archaeologists, discovering and examining artifacts from the past. Pupils working together had to come up with plausible stories about the discoveries they unearthed during their digs. Pupils visited the Aquadome in Tralee after lunch and had great fun enjoying the water slides, lazy river and water rapids. The pupils finished their tour with lunch at McDonald's and returned home after a very exciting, educational and fun packed day. Have a look at some images from the day below.
