Our 5th class girls took part in the Cumann na mBunscol indoor camogie blitz held at Cratloe G.A.A. Hall on Friday February 24 last. Kilkishen girls competed with Kilmurry N.S., Tulla N.S. and Cratloe N.S. playing great camogie throughout. The girls can be very proud of their displays and we look forward to the outdoor competitions later this year. Each week pupils are asked to remember 3 important rules: 1. Show Respect 2. Do Your Best and 3. Complete Homework. In each classroom pupils that manage to demonstrate these on a daily basis are in the running for special weekly awards announced every Monday. Well done to all our award winners this week. Best of luck next week First and second class had great fun yesterday celebrating Pancake Tuesday with a pancake picnic in the lovely sunshine! Congratulations to Clodagh O'Hagan on winning silver in the U/12 50m Freestyle event at the Munster Primary Swimming gala held at University Limerick on Saturday February 4. Clodagh has qualified for the all-Ireland schools gala that takes place at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin later this month. We wish Clodagh the very best in the all-Ireland competition.
