Station 4: Place Value Challenge Cards and a matching activity. Station 5: Place Value Unit Test using Google Forms and Hit the Button (Tables Practice). All classes from Junior Infants to 6th Class continue working on fundamental movement and developing the basic hurling and camogie skills each Friday. The boys and girls are making great progress and demonstrating great skills each week. Keep up the great work everybody. Works commenced on a planned 40m x 40m Astro Turf Extension at Kilkishen N.S. at the end of August. We are delighted with the progress made in the short time since the project commenced with ground works and preparation works for future LED lighting almost complete. Over the coming weeks drainage works, laying of synthetic grass and fencing will take place. We look forward to the opening of this facility and sharing it with our community sports groups. A Fundraising drive will be announced shortly which aims to raise money to complete this project. It is hoped with community support the project will be fully completed debt free. We look forward to your support with this fundraising drive. Have a look at the progress so far.
