Our school debating team were in action on Monday December 2 when they opposed the motion "Homework is a waste of time for all primary school pupils" with St. Conaire's Shannon. The debate was very keenly contested between two excellently prepared teams. The kilkishen team comprised of Áine Moroney (captain), Emma Zimmermann and Eimear Cassidy. Unfortunately Kilkishen will not go forward to the next round, however the team can be extremely proud of their efforts in this years competition. We wish St. Conaire's the best of luck in the next round and congratulate all that took part.
