Six teams from Kilkishen N.S. took part in the East Clare Cross Country event at Lee's Road on Tuesday September 25. The school was represented in the U/8, U/10 and O/10 boys and girls events. The pupils gave great performances and showcased all the great training they had done with Martina O'Hagan over the past few weeks. Well done to all involved. Keep up the good work and watch out for this week's winners! 5th and 6th class pupils have finished studying "Safe Harbour" a novel detailing the lives of Sophie and Hugh, two London World War II evacuees, and their experience of living through The London Blitz. The students of 2nd and 3rd class celebrated Roald Dahl day 2018 today. In Mr. Walsh's class the students are big fans of Mr. Dahl and love to learn all about his books and characters.
